If you are not into gardening, you can do something that you love. For instance, start your own freelance work or a small-scale business. Search online for various opportunities meant for retired individuals. Create a positive and optimistic home environment. It will help you feel great.
This might sound like a rather cliché thing to do. But meditation is actually one of the best ways to keep your mind focused and strong. There are plenty of examples where you can see people benefiting from meditation.
Wake up early in the morning and give yourself at least 10-minutes of your time to meditate. It helps you relax your thoughts, calm your mind and improves your attention span to a great level.
